Precettö is a primarily instrumental, solo experimental music project from Auckland, New Zealand known for blending atmospheric soundscapes with aspects of industrial/alternative metal. Emerging from the online shoegaze scene alongside artists like Wisp and Sun Vow, the project's sound is characterized by haunting melodies, intricate guitar work, and emotionally charged compositions. Taking influence from bands such as Circa Survive, Fleshwater, and Circle Takes The Square, Precettö’s 2023 album Too Cold for a Sweater and the 2024 release Urban Lullabies and Bite-Sized Houses showcase a unique blend of sonic textures, creating an immersive listening experience.
